In Sweden they love to take herring, wait until it gets a bit smelly and then shove it in a tin. The fish slowly putrifies, and the gases it gives off increase the pressure in the tin. This is the 17th century ship that was the mightiest royal ship of her times - her times being for approximately 20 minutes. Not a bad job getting it back out of the water though.

There is this hotel up in the north of Sweden which only exists in the winter, called the Ice Hotel - made entirely of ice. This little showroom gave a taste of what it was like - you could lie on a bed with reindeer skins on it, and check out the ice sculptures.

Jannah chilling out on a bridge heading over to Gamla Stan, the old town. The railing of this bridge, when we came back that evening, was covered in spiders. Lucky she didn't know when this picture was taken.
