When signing up for a tour of Ha long bay you get the idea that there will be a few boats doing the same thing because of the number of agencies, but that still does not prepare you for the hundreds of junks waiting at the 'tourist jetty'. You have to cross two or three boats just to get to your own. <br/> <br/>Pretty when they're all heading out though.
